The Food and Beverage (F&B) industry is one of the fastest growing sectors and is highly dependent on the quality of human resources (HR). Employee performance is a key factor in determining operational success, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Therefore, human resource management (HRM) has a strategic role in improving employee performance in this sector. This article aims to examine the role of HRM on employee performance in the F&B sector through a conceptual approach and literature review. The research method used is a literature study of textbooks and journal articles relevant to the topics of HRM and employee performance. The results of the study show that HRM practices such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, and compensation and motivation systems have a significant influence on improving employee performance in the F&B industry. With the implementation of effective HRM, F&B companies can increase employee productivity, loyalty, and service quality.
